Amber Treston, Surgical Assisant
Amber Treston moved to Juneau in the spring of 2007 and has been employed as a surgical assistant for Dr. Charles Schultz ever since. She was born and raised in Berthoud, Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Science. During her schooling, Amber worked as a CNA at a local hospital. In her last year of school, she did an internship at a large oral surgery office where she gained experience assisting multiple oral surgeons. After graduation, Amber packed her car and moved to Juneau, where she had worked for several summers while in school. Since her employment with Dr. Schultz, Amber has furthered her knowledge of surgery and patient care through attending several dental and surgical conferences and has become a certified surgical assistant. She holds certifications in surgical assisting from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Amber is happliy married to a nice Juneau boy, Grady Treston, and the two love to spend time in the outdoors fishing and camping. When not on the water, you might find Amber running, playing hockey, or walking her dog, Porter.
